Designed as part of an automated NC machining project, this lighting fixture was conceived for mass production. Its disc-shaped structure sandwiches the light unit like a traditional Japanese monaka confection, while washi paper diffuses a soft, warm glow. With a mid-century aesthetic at its core, the design integrates seamlessly into both Japanese and Western interiors.

自動NCを活用したプロジェクトとして、量産を前提とした照明器具をデザイン。最中のようにライトユニットを挟み込む円盤構造を採用し、ライト部分には和紙を用いることで、柔らかく温かみのある光を生み出す。ミッドセンチュリーの美意識をまとい、和洋を問わず空間に自然と溶け込むデザインに仕上げた。
